Ashton Provo, 12, of Spiro, Okla. receives a free GI haircut from Jimmy Don Peterson on Wednesday (March 25) at the celebration of the 51st anniversary of the date Elvis Presley received his buzz when inducted into the Army at Fort Chaffee in Fort Smith, Ark. Peterson, the son of James Peterson who sheared Elvis' hair in 1958, gave free GI haircuts during the anniversary event at the Fort Chaffee Barbershop Museum. The museum opened in August and contains the original chair Elvis sat in, the restored barbershop, and memorabilia.
